We show up.

A trusted circle of people who look out for one another.

Vouched membership. A ledger everyone sees. Help that actually arrives. Built for the circles that already hold communities together — chamas, stokvels, susus, alumni, family.

Tyknit for circles

Chamas, stokvels, susus, tandas, alumni funds. Vouched admission, secret ballots, a transparent treasury, chat, and the skills directory that turns your circle into a livelihood network.

Tyknit for causes

Education, medical, bereavement, and charity fundraisers — each vouched by a member who stakes their standing on it, each with a shareable page showing ledger-verified progress.

The vouch stake

When you bring someone in, your own standing is on the line for a year.

That single rule is why a Tyknit circle stays tight-knit at any size — and why your ledger, your votes, and your asks can be trusted.

Why choose Tyknit?

Trust you can bank on

Every member was vouched for by someone with skin in the game. Every shilling is on a ledger no one can edit. Every vote is secret.

Real economic benefit

Referrals from people who’ll vouch for you, assistance with clear terms, pool payouts on schedule, and a skills directory that finds you work.

Belonging, not an algorithm

Circle-only chat, 24-hour statuses, celebrations when promises are kept. No feeds, no followers, no strangers.

Belonging, helping and being helped will never sit behind a paywall. Circles that want more infrastructure — treasury reports, reminders, organisation tooling — will pay for the tools, never the trust.

The Tyknit Business Promise

  • We don’t charge you for belonging.
  • We don’t sell your relationships.
  • We don’t sell your trust.
  • We don’t sell your story.

We make money by building the tools that help your circle work.

When your circle grows stronger, Tyknit grows stronger. Joining, participating, asking for help, receiving help, introductions, vouches and chat are free — forever.

Questions, answered.

Does Tyknit hold our money?

Never. Contributions settle on your circle’s own rails — M-Pesa, UPI, Pix, SEPA, bank, even cash at the table. Tyknit is the ledger every member sees, not the bank.

How does someone join a circle?

Only through a member’s vouch: nomination, an independent endorsement, vetting, a secret ballot, then probation. The sponsor’s own standing is staked on who they bring.

Do I need an email address?

No. Sign in with your phone number and an SMS code, like WhatsApp. Email is optional.

What does standing mean?

A tier — probationary, member, pillar — earned from what you actually do: contributions kept, promises honored, vouches that held. Never a public score, never a leaderboard.

If you run a circle — or a group chat that quietly is one — Tyknit is being built around you.
